Dean Cain Flying Into Ohio Comic-Con!

For me, when I think of Clark Kent, I think of Dean Cain. Perhaps it’s because my ’90s upbringing was slightly too late for the likes of George Reeves, and too early for the WB’s high school super-angst drama Smallville. Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was cable’s grown up and sexed-up superhero program: bereft of most comic stylistic devices–though loosely based on the original story structure. The show debuted at a time when capitalism was booming, and to be super meant making a great living as a journalist, and toting Teri Hatcher by your side as hard-talking sexpot Lois Lane.
Dean Cain has had a few roles in both television and cinema post Superman, including a guest spot on Smallville’s seventh season. Currently he’s on NBC’s Stars Earn Stripes, a  reality show, which pledges allegiance to our nation’s fighters, where Hollywood stars compete in action packed events. Cain will be making the Comic-Con rounds, and will excite fans at Ohio’s convention. He will be making an appearance both Saturday, September 29th, and Sunday, September 30th, where he will sign autographs. Most pleased, assuredly, will be the babies of the ’80s, who found Superman to be not only strong, but one heck of a suave reporter.
