Former Superman Dean Cain Weighs In On "Man Of Steel" Actor Henry Cavill

Entertainment website NerdReactor hosted a convention at the Frank and Son Collectible Show this past Saturday. Many cosplayers, artists, rappers, and fans were in attendance. Actor Dean Cain (ABC television’s “Lois & Clark”) was headlining the event. Fans waited eagerly to greet and have their photos signed from the well liked and popular actor. Nuke the Fridge’s own Louis Love had an opportunity to briefly discuss the new “Man of Steel” actor Henry Cavill with Cain.
This is what Cain had to say:
“Cavill has everything going for him. He’s tall, 6’4″. He looks like he can kick ass like he did in “Immortals.” He has the same qualities that other actors who have played Superman before him. He’ll do a great job!”
“Superman: Man of Steel” will land in theaters on June 14th, 2013. Actor Henry Cavill will play Clark Kent/Superman. Other members of the cast include Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Lawrence Fishburne, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Henry Lennix, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, and Richard Shiff. Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are producing the “Man of Steel.” The screenplay is written by David S. Goyer (“Batman Begins”), which is based on a story created by David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan. Zack Snyder (“Watchmen,” “300”) directs.
