Supergirl Maybe Using A Set From Lois & Clark
Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has posted a photo from the Warner Bros. lot where the series will film, and it features a location recognizable to fans of Superman’s television history.
The photo tweeted below seems to show the Daily Planet outdoor set from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Morning at the WB lot! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SUPERGIRL?src=hash">#SUPERGIRL</a> <a href="http://t.co/JZeioRy8Kp">pic.twitter.com/JZeioRy8Kp</a></p>— Andrew Kreisberg (@AJKreisberg) <a href="https://twitter.com/AJKreisberg/status/577471731142545408">March 16, 2015</a></blockquote>

The Daily Planet globe is missing, but the building looks identical, right down to the subway entrance.
So could Supergirl be borrowing the set for some shots in the pilot? Maybe. Kreisberg doesn’t mention one way or another, and it’s possible that he’s just touring the lot and happened to take a shot from there, but it seems like the kind of the Easter egg that Kreisberg would plant in his show.
Supergirl is confirmed to be borrowing Lois & Clark star Dean Cain for a role in the pilot, alongside former Supergril star Helen Slater. Their roles are undisclosed, but they’ll be acting opposite Supergirl series star Melissa Benoist.
Supergirl is expected to premiere in the fall of 2015.
